We entered into the Spitfire Audio scoring contest using a scene from the HBO show Westworld.

​

Most of the sounds were from the company Hybrid Two, using their Project Alpha and Project Bravo libraries. We also used sounds from CineSamples like CineBrass.

We entered our submission into Indie Film Music Contest's first contest! The video is called Poulette's Chair, a chair that helps its friend, Poulette, overcome her fears of meeting new people.

In our submission, we used mostly CineSamples libraries, like CineWinds, CineStrings (mostly the ensemble patches), and CineBrass. We also used some samples from ProjectSAM's True Strike 1 and EastWest's Hollywood Percussion.

Flew our DJI Mavic Pro over the Poudre river! At the very end, you can see a fish jumping out of the water. Such an awesome capture! Can't wait until it is Summer where the trees are green and river is bursting with life.

This is our first time recording with a DJI drone! We got to fix someone's gimbal ribbon on the Mavic Pro and took it out to do some test shots. They turned out pretty cool! If you love the music, check out the Music Licensing store and find the song "First Flight"!

We hope to invest in a drone in the near future. Maybe the Mavic Air or (maybe and!) Phantom 4 Pro+!

What is Azûlara? Future author, Eric Richards, is constructing a novel series influenced by his wild imagination. Although the world or story has no name, and up until this point he just used the main characters of each story as a title Eliam and Ithiliad, he has constructed a good portion of the places, maps, people, characters, plot, and language. Before he knew Tolkien and his works, Eric loved making languages to little stories he created as a child. Now, with the help of Tolkien's genius, Eric dares to trace the steps of such a legend.

Today marked an incredible day in history. Unfortunately we did not experience 100%, our ~95% was still incredible. The leaves casted crescent shadows, the temperature cooled down, and all around us dimmed. Hopefully you got to enjoy the 2017 Solar Eclipse! Just incredible how it stretched from one ocean to another.

The first half of the video shows you how dark it got when it reached totality. The second half shows you the moon moving away from the sun.

It was such an amazing weekend working with friends. Our film has now been submitted and will be on the big screen this Sunday. We will post for all of you to enjoy after the screening.

On a funny note, we were blamed for driving fast, being loud all night, and killing a guy's dog in a place where, well, we weren't at all, during the very last shot, too. It was quite the adventure this weekend.

Empyrean Media Arts has registered with a team of awesome individuals, mostly former students from the Colorado Film School (aka CFS), to tackle the demanding task of creating a film in 48 hours! The contest begins on the 4th of August and will end on the 6th. Wish us the best as we test our wits to their limits! :)

Hello friends! This video focuses on the effective latitude of a Nikon D7200, which is about 5 stops. If you set your key of your face at 50 IRE (anything higher than that you will lose detail with the D7200), you have one stop of effective latitude above and four (and maybe a fraction more) stops of effective latitude below. I hope this video is helpful!!

Also be careful to not over saturate your image! It is easy to do that in a DSLR shooting video!

Two ambitious men search for the Chosen One to answer their dire question about grilled cheese. Little did they know the adventure they would soon experience.

So what is this? A friend and I thought to create a spontaneous film where we literally make it up as we go. All the events in this film were not planned. It has a fun Reality TV/Documentary feel to it. Even though it has a random premise, it still has a fun story with characters that decided to play along!

Plots are cool and all but stories nowadays are lacking in character development. Watch the video to find out a great way to connect us to your characters!

This video was inspired after I watched the Star Wars movie Rogue One. I was so disappointed with the lack of character development that I had to make a video to encourage people to construct better characters.

These ideas came from years of story development study. This method isn't "official" but it still has great insights into how we connect with people, thus alluding to your characters.
